I work on controls at Dyna. My interests are in control theory, its intersection with learning, and its applications to robotics. Currently, I am particularly interested in understanding how the design and performance of control systems shape the capabilities of robot foundation models, both during training and at inference time.
Before Dyna, I received my Ph.D. from the GRASP Lab at the University of Pennsylvania, where I was advised by Nik Matni. I also hold an M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford and a B.A. in Computer Science from Swarthmore. My work was recognized as a Best Paper Finalist at IROS 2026.
Outside of robotics and control, I enjoy running, reading, and hiking.
